Welcome to a new year!

It's the start of another school year! This blog is used throughout the year to help students and parents find resources. A blog is published in reverse chronological order. The most recent posts are at the top, while older posts are at the bottom. If you are looking for an older post, simply scroll down.

We have started our first unit in the Wonders series. Students have taken a spelling pretest on the first 20 words. Based on their pretest scores, students are studying either the core list or learning how to spell the vocabulary words for the unit. All students received the Word Work page and should know whether they are working on Tier 1 or Tier 2.

Here are the Quizlet links for this week's words:

Week 1 Spelling Words

Week 1 Vocabulary Words

Quizlet has several different fun games that you can play to learn the words. If you would prefer to use the app, I have saved the lists under "Bendersville Sixth Grade" to make them easier to find.

Happy learning!
